Attendees are strongly encouraged to receive administrative approval to install this curriculum in their school and plan to do so by the following school year. This curriculum has been a major asset to the teachers who use since it was launched in 1983. Project WILD is a nationally renowned curriculum that takes high level environmental topics and translates them to students of all ages. ![]() ![]() Transportation to and from is not included. Two University of Wyoming graduate credits (additional cost of $60 per credit paid to UW) or two PTSB credits are available for attending this workshop. Families interested in hunting Wyoming wildlife will complete a Hunter Education course during this camp, where they learn the basics of safe hunting and receive both a Hunter Education and Bowhunter Education certificate. Fishing Camp June 29 - July 2 Cost: $150 per personĬampers will learn the basics of two types of fishing, fly fishing and spin casting, through hands-on fishing trips. These are introductory camps to give a broad overview of outdoor recreational activities, with the hope that families will spark a passion together! Our Adventure Camps teach families the basics of multiple outdoor activities, including hiking, canoeing, archery, and animal identification. The camp staff does not provide childcare. These camps, led by Wyoming Game and Fish Department staff, will allow participants to explore nature and learn new recreational outdoor activities together as a family. There are three styles of family camps, which include adventure camp, fishing camp, and hunter education camp. Family Camp at Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp offers an overnight camp experience for participants ages ten and up to build confidence in their outdoor skills and enjoy learning together as a family. ![]()
